Waterpark Survival Tips
So we're not perfect, we all forget things, and notice a bit too late...
Well hopefully these tips serve as a check list for ya!
= Swim shoes or flip flops – Schlitterbahn parks are among the largest in the nation, and that means that inevitably there will be some hot spots without shade or outdoor carpet. Wear some sort of water worthy shoe.
= Suncreen – Water rides remove the best in sunscreen. Apply, ride, repeat.
= Pack a lunch – Schlitterbahn allows ice chests, but no glass or alcohol. Make sure to pack some favorites but leave room for park specialties like funnel cake and turkey legs!
= Water safe diapers for the babies! Those of us with babies know that regular diapers don't do well in pools of water.
= Goggles! I love going underwater and being able to see and so does my son Dominic.
= Towels! We all hate wet clothes when we are ready to leave, especially if we have a stop to do on the way home.
