Houston Pedal Party And Giveaway!!!!

***Disclosure-Thanks to Pedal Party and Little Soya for sponsoring our 1st meet up for the Hello Houston Media Bloggers and Blog Free - Houston and Beyond.  Any opinions stated will be my own based on my personal experience.

Tired of the same old bar scene meet up with your friends? Want  a new refreshing way to celebrate a birthday, promotion, or just simply have a night out on the town?

Well a Pedal Party is the way to go!

What is a Pedal Party you ask!?

I had bever heard of a Pedal Party before out meet up either, that is until we had our meet up!

Basically, Its a huge man powered bike!

The Pedal Party being essentially a 16 person bike (that’s 15 seated and one standing in the middle as ‘Your Bartender’), is a very green and Eco friendly party alternative to a party bus and as an extra bonus you get exercise while you party. You can think of the Pedal Party as a Party Bike, Beer Bike, Bike Bar, Pedal Pub, Group Bike, pedal bar or just plain fun.

We had 2 bikes and these 2 were our captains! We had the guy on ours, he was so silly, and he made the experience even better!

We also had the best bartender, my SIL Independent Mami !
She was very crowd pleasing and added to the life to the party as well!
( There she is living up the party, dancing like nobody was watching!)

Our bike was used to check out local bars in the area which was awesome, because with a new baby, we haven't been out much.

You make stops at local bars like our 1st stop to Christian's Tailgate (in case you didn't know, they have been voted the best burger in town.  They have 2 locations in Houston for you to try.)

Our 2nd Stop was Porch Swing Pub, that place was awesome! Loved this sign they had!

3rd and last top was Liberty Station, i
loved this oversized version of one of my favorite games!

The whole night was blast, with memories to last!

Our bike, while we signed our wivers.

SIL love going on!

And of course our hubbies were good sports! Its BYOB so they were happy they got to pedal AND  have a brewzky!

We loved our captains shirt! LMAO

Late Dinner Post

So last night I made stir-fry! And might I say it was delicious! Its was so colorful, well mostly green lol

I mixed in:
●Bell Peppers
●Mushrooms
●Onion
●Carrots
●Bean Spouts
●Minced Garlic
●Green Beans
●Snow Peas

I made beef stir-fry actually. I cooked the beef about 4 to 5 minutes, then sat aside. Cooked the veggies about 4 minutes as well then blended both. I used extra virgin olive oil of course. I did buy the premade sauce,  but only used a bit to coat the mixture. After some research, I think I'll actually try to make my own sauce next time! I let it cook a about another 5 minutes and done!  I'm still watching what I eat so I didnt even bother to make rice and I didn't cook the veggies all the way either to not cook out all the nutrition. It was so filling and flavorful!  My hubby loved it!

Thanks for reading :)

★Brunch Report★

For brunch I made myself an omelet! I love these, you can literally put anything you want in them! My choice today was turkey, onions and bell peppers.

-I sprayed the pan with olive oil cooking spray and cooked the turkey and the veggies for a few minutes, placed them on a plate and and continued with the omelet. Seasoned with salt and pepper.

-When that was done I placed the turkey mixture on one side and folded like a taco. Its really easy, healthy and very filling!

Parenting Question:
Dom sometimes doesn't understand that Enzo is a baby,  therefore can't do everything just yet! He wants Enzo to play like as he does and that makes him sad. Julian is only sitting at the moment and falls back sometimes, a few has been because of Dom. What can I do to get through to him?

Dinner Report!

Tonight I craved steaks! So guys I don't have an outdoor grill just yet and I dont have a cast iron skillet either so I looked online some time ago and came across a tip online for baked steaks! We've done them like this a few times already and they are so good, tender, and juicy!

-So, I brown them in a pan on both sides and cook them in the oven the rest of the time! That's it!

-Season to taste of course!

-For the size of the steaks I did 325°f for 20 minutes,  we like medium well, so we had a bit of pink.

For sides, we were a little bad going with steak fries, but we did have green beans with them. ♡

-I baked the steak fries as well, drizzled with some olive oil and sea salt.
-Green Beans were sautéed in olive oil, with minced garlic and salt and pepper.
Overall my craving was satisfied! And no offense to my steak lovers, I love steak with A1 sauce! Lol
