Coming This Summer 2013: The Soaring Eagle!Want a bird’s eye view while soaring over the park!? For a small charge, waterpark guests can glide above the park, flying more than 100 feet in the air, on a two-person gondola for ¼ of a mile. New Food in 2013!Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark proudly announces two new eateries. The Funnel Cake Factory will offer creative concoctions like red velvet and cookies n’ cream funnel cakes for our sweet tooth swimmers. Guests looking for something more savory can get their fill at our new Texas Cheese Steak eatery serving up the classic favorite Texas-style by dressing it with jalapenos, grilled onions and spicy cheese sauce. The park will also be offering “Blizzard Beer”, a refreshment for our adult guests that is always served up at a chilling 29 degrees.

Green Schlitterbahn
Schlitterbahn’s commitment to the environment is long standing. From the way the original park was designed to flow among trees, or the commitment to water conservation (98% of the water is recycled through filtration), or maintaining recycling containers throughout the parks. The development team at Schlitterbahn constantly looks for ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle.


 
Premium Cabanas
Schlitterbahn’s premium cabanas create a unique and relaxing experience. Guests enjoy a common meeting ground for their party and experience private seating, lounge chairs, catering, tableside service, dedicated lockers and hammocks.

Heated-Indoor Schedule: Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Wasserfest Indoor Section Only is open weekends until April 14, 2013. And stays open weekends and selected holidays from October 12, 2013 to January 5, 2013. Park opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. Attraction availability may vary.



Summer Schedule: Schlitterbahn Galveston Island is open weekends beginning April 20, 2013 and daily beginning May 16, 2013 to September 2, 2013. The park returns to weekend operation September 7, 2013 to October 6, 2013. Park opens at 10 a.m. and closing times vary from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attraction availability may vary.

Heated-Indoor Ticket Prices: General Admission Day Pass: $27.99, Seniors and Children 3-11: $22.99. Discounts are available for afternoon and two-day passes. Children under 3 are free.

Summer Ticket Prices: General Admission Day Pass: $45.99, Seniors and Children 3-11: $35.99. Season Passes are $145.99 and $105.99 respectively. Discounts are available for afternoon and two-day passes. Children under 3 are free.

Free Parking and Picnics: Yes it’s true. At Schlitterbahn parking is free for everyone. Schlitterbahn guests can bring a picnic from home (no glass or alcohol please). There is no charge for tubes, life vests or bodyboards.
